Hey there farmhouse lovers! The response to our front porch reveal has been huge. So many of you responded that you loved the front porch stenciled floor as well as our soft pink front door! Today I’m sharing our front porch decorated for the fall season. This farmhouse porch is decked out in fall decor.
We added color to the porch with some pumpkins in muted greens, oranges and whites. That beautiful green pumpkin (or maybe it’s technically a gourd?) is my favorite!
Mums in reds, oranges and white also make an appearance on our porch. And why spend time potting mums that only last a couple of months? I left them in the cheap plastic container and simply slipped them into rusty buckets, pails, and a terra-cotta pot. The olive bucket was too deep for the pink mum. So I placed a few bricks into the bottom to raise up the mum. No bag of potting soil needed!
When I came across this white mum, and realized it had hints of the pink matching our front door, I knew it had to come home with us.
All summer long I struggled with finding the right little table or stand for my coffee cup. This old bench is the perfect find! It holds the coffee cups and books, and is also big enough for a foot rest. A win all around.
This old ladder is doubling as a plant stand for the mum. I was originally selling this at our fall barn sale, but I loved the colors and stencils on the ladder so much it had to find a place in our home. This spot on the front porch is a great solution! I’m pretty confident it will work out in this space all year long.
Do you have any other must have items for outdoor fall decorating? I have a couple small DIY projects coming up this week that help round out my fall decor for inside our farmhouse that I can’t wait to share with you. In the meantime if you are looking for more fall fun make sure you hop over and check out this piano mantle decorated for fall.
