I think we should declare recliners to be The Great Divide in the world of furniture. Even those who are particular about their furniture choices, and have a set design style, can struggle with picking out a recliner that is comfortable enough to please everyone without looking like an overstuffed turkey on Thanksgiving Day.
Can anyone else relate to the struggle? In fact, it is the main reason why we don’t have a recliner in our home. We have a glider and a rocking chair but no recliner.

So I went on a hunt for a recliner that could please the masses. Something with enough cushioning to feel comfortable, and yet still have clean lines that would make any modern or farmhouse lover feel proud. The result of the search is a dozen recliners, with something that is sure to fit in your home! There is leather and linen. Gliding and stationary. Metal and wood. Nailhead and piping trim. And of course lower and higher price points.
Check out the list of 12 fashionable recliners for the modern farmhouse (or any house for that matter!) and let me know which one is your favorite.
