Earlier on in the month of March I shared with you that I was working with a friend and fellow blogger on creating a plan for their dining room. The mood board was designed first, which helped ensure that we were headed in the right direction for the room design.
The bones of the room were planned first, white board and batten, black metal fixtures, light drapery, and a rug with a subtle but traditional pattern. Three color options were provided for the wall, a mauve color as well as a light and dark neutral color. From there we added in their dining room table and chairs.
Details were added next. A storage solution for their family games and extra dishes. Greenery was added, as well as a place to display the homeowner’s photography, additional lighting, and more decor details.
At the end of the design planning, the homeowners received these planning pages, as well as additional design pages, extra 3D drawings, and a source list with direct links to pages for purchasing all supplies.

Great look. I love the wood treatment on the walls and the plate wall!
