When I first moved to the country I was seriously overwhelmed by the wide open spaces. It made me feel like I was in the middle of no where. And in a way I was. But honestly, you need to see a sunrise and a sunset out here.
Or the stunning fall colors along the bluffs of the Mississippi.
And rows of crops for miles.
Cows grazing on hillsides.
Clusters of trees around the countryside surrounding the homes.
I love to visit towns and cities, and see the beautiful architecture of old and new buildings. And I appreciate all the convince of city living. But when we go away for a while, I always appreciate returning home to our open space. Here, where there is less to distract your view from the beauty that God created. An amazing benefit of living on our farm. One that is better described with pictures.
Yes, city girl, moving to the country may cause you to feel isolated at first. But I trust that over time you will also come to appreciate the beauty of creation that is all around you.
Have a beautiful evening,
