One of the ways I hope to maintain an organized home this year is to add labels to areas that are used by the entire family. These spots in the home are easily overwhelmed by miscellaneous stuff that never seems to be put away in the right spot. So I’ve been on a mission to find easy ways to organize and label the things in the messy spots, like the linen closet.
This list includes removable labels for canisters and containers, labels for shelves, and basket clip on labels in white, black and shiny metal. When it comes to making your own labels you can use an embosser with black or pink tape, or print off labels in a variety of colors.
So the question is, how would you use the labels? Check out this list below for places to use labels for better home organization:
label in the garage:
- containers of nuts and bolts
- tool drawers
- containers for lawn and garden supplies
- animal food containers/bins
- automotive supplies
label in the kitchen:
- bulk food containers
- shelves in the pantry
- baskets in the pantry
label in the closet:
- containers of off-season clothes
- bedding sizes
- towel sizes
- baskets of miscellaneous supplies or accessories
