If your summer has been rolling along like mine that means you are tackling one week at a time without looking too far ahead. And that also means you knew Father’s Day was coming, but it still seems like all of a sudden it is here! Just because we roll a week at a time here, doesn’t mean I don’t want meaningful gifts. It just means I need to be able to pull it together quickly. Which is exactly why I put together a printable Father’s Day book. This DIY Father’s Day gift from kids is the best last-minute gift for the Dad and Grandpa’s in your life. (Yes there is both a Dad and Grandpa version of this book!)
If you find yourself really pinched for time you can simply print this off at home and staple it together. I took ours to an office supply store and had it printed, covered and bound for a more finished look. The entire thing, including the color pages cost $10.
To have yours bound like mine at the office supply store you will need to ask them to:
- color copy pages onto heavy cardstock paper
- trim pages down to a square
- add a clear cover for the top
- add a navy blue heavy paper for the backing
- bind with a navy blue coil
If you want to add pictures to the book you will need to print:
- eight square 3.5 by 3.5 photos
- one square 5 by 5 photo

Nothing can beat a handwritten/handdrawn gift like this for father’s day. So thoughtful! Thank you for sharing with us at #HomeMattersParty. We would love to have you again this week.

I love gifts from the heart. So meaningful. I love how you make it even nicer by having it bound.
